WEST TAWAKONI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Online Reporting – Non‑In‑Progress Incidents
The West Tawakoni Police Department now provides an online reporting option for community members who need to document non‑in‑progress criminal activity or submit general police reports. This service is intended to streamline the reporting process and ensure accurate, timely communication between the public and responding officers.
Purpose
The Online Reporting Form allows residents to submit detailed information regarding incidents that do not require an immediate police response. This includes events where:
-
The suspect is no longer on scene
-
There is no immediate threat to life or property
-
The incident has already occurred and is not actively unfolding
Process
Upon submission, the completed report is automatically forwarded to a West Tawakoni Police Department officer for review. An officer will contact the reporting party as soon as practicable to obtain any additional information, provide guidance, or initiate further action as needed.
Immediate or Emergency Situations
This online service is not intended for urgent or emergent incidents.
-
For situations requiring immediate attention, please contact Hunt County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch so an officer can be dispatched to your location.
-
For any emergency, dial 911 without delay.
