• National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community‑building event that brings neighbors and law enforcement together to strengthen relationships, promote safety, and celebrate the spirit of West Tawakoni. The West Tawakoni Police Department is proud to participate in this nationwide initiative each year.

National Night Out is usually held on the first Tuesday in August.

• Trunk‑or‑Treat

A safe, family‑friendly Halloween event hosted at the City Park with decorated patrol units, candy stations, and community partners.

• Christmas Parade of Lights

One of West Tawakoni’s most cherished holiday traditions. Families, local organizations, and businesses come together to celebrate the season with illuminated floats, festive music, and a joyful community atmosphere. The West Tawakoni Police Department is proud to support this event each year by ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all attendees.
