The West Tawakoni Police Department provides Vacation Watch and Extra Patrol services to help safeguard residences during periods of absence or when additional patrol presence is requested.

If you prefer or if you experience any issues accessing the form, requests may still be submitted by email to extrapatrol@westtawakonipd.org

 

Upon receipt, the West Tawakoni Police Department will ensure your address is entered into the patrol schedule for the dates you provide.

 

Patrol Procedures

During your absence, officers will conduct periodic checks of the listed residence as staffing and call volume allow. These checks are intended to enhance the safety and security of your property while you are away.

If your plans change or you return earlier than expected, please notify the department so your request can be updated.

Emergency and Immediate Needs

This service is not intended for urgent or emergency situations.

• For matters requiring immediate attention, please contact Hunt County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch so an officer can be sent to your location.

• For any emergency, call 911.
